SoftBank Group's President and COO Nikesh Arora has stepped down today.
Just last night he received a clean chit from an internal committee probing allegation of financial irrregulaties against Arora. The move marks an abrupt end to the tenure of Founder and Chief Executive Masayoshi son's handpicked successor. Earlier Masayoshi son had indicated that he would step down when he turned 60. However in a change of stance son has said he would continue as ceo longer than planned.
