I tried to stay faithful to my long time 'A' camera, the Panasonic GH5. I really did. But with a camera like the Sony A7Siii, what can a filmmaker do. I brushed off the incredible autofocus at first saying that real filmmakers pull manually. No need for that witchcraft. I brushed off the unreal low-light capabilities by convincing myself that I could always rent more lights for client shoots and just make it work in run-n-gun situations. But I'm a weak, weak filmmaker. And now, a filmmaker with a much thinner wallet.
This may not be everyones cup of comedy, but hopefully it at least makes you smirk. If this is something you thought was funny, you may enjoy a just-as-dumb video I created for Earth Day 🌏
