Demonstration and reverse engineered schematic of the adjustable low-pass filter module.
Low-pass filters are used to attenuate high frequencies from the signal. This particular module is designed to be used as low-pass filter and preamplifier for subwoofers.
Adjustable cutoff frequency allows user to adjust the frequency range of the subwoofer to complement the main speakers, without too much overlap.
