Swedish Prime Minister visited Kyiv on Wednesday (February 15) and expressed Sweden’s support of Ukraine’s EU integration.
“We will do all in our power to ensure Ukraine’s rightful future as a member of the European Union. You are European, you belong to Europe, and you belong in the EU,” Said Ulf Kristersson, Swedish PM during joint news conference.
Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Ukraine’s President hoped that the talks on his country’s EU membership could begin this year.
“We want this very much and there are no obstacles to it and there will be none.”
