Medical screening: Cadets undergo a medical screening.
Oath of Office: Cadets take the Oath of Office and become Basic Cadets.
Uniforms and dorms: Cadets receive their uniforms and dorm assignments.
Haircuts: Cadets get haircuts.
Core Values Ramp: Cadets climb the Core Values Ramp, which serves as a reminder of the academy's core values.
Ceremonial class swearing-in ceremony: The Commandant of Cadets conducts a ceremonial class swearing-in ceremony at the Stillman Parade Field.
Instruction from upper classmen: Cadets receive instruction from upper classmen
