This was my talk in the online event hosted by National Center for Teacher Education (NCTE), Coalition for Inclusion and Special Education (CISPED) under Philippine Normal University (PNU) about the Assistive Technology that we visually-impaired people use in our daily lives enabling us to be independent and empowered in the areas of education, livelihood and employment. This talk aims to promote awareness about these tools and technology we use to further assist the teachers in properly addressing the needs of visually-impaired students, and also to debunk most common misconceptions that the society normally have when it comes to talking about people with visual impairment.
