From the Heart Director Dean Parkin says he’s consistently seen an “enormous amount of goodwill” from Australians when it comes to the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
This comes after a Resolve Monitor Poll found the majority of Australians have already backed the idea, with a clear majority of 64 per cent voting in favour of the Albanese government’s draft.
"It reinforces what we’ve been experiencing and the conversations that we’ve been having with Australians, really over the last five years," Mr Parkin told Sky News Australia.
“It shows that, underlying this, that Australians are ready to give this a fair go, and that goodwill is real and something that gives us great encouragement.”
