In this episode of healthy around the world we visit the Middle East and pay homage to dish that has it's origins in many cuisines and cultures through out this part of the world. Shakshuka is an egg dish, traditional served in a spiced filled tomato stew where it is often baked in Turkey to create a luscious and flavoursome break-fast meal.
I originally created this healthy version of a Shakshuka for our 28 day boost camp program, by cooking my own fragrant tomato sauce (recipe included) and increasing the goodness with lean protein and loads of fibrous vegetables to create an absolute delight of a dish.
