You need to have sun protection while fishing. That includes sun protective clothing as well as choosing the best fishing hat for sun protection. Your fishing hat must protect your face and neck when fishing in the sun. Sun protection clothing should be at least SPF 50 and include a long sleeve shirt - even when it is hot.
