M9 News Journalist Nishant spoke to Director Maruthi on the occasion of his Birthday. There was a detailed discussion about Maruthi's career spanning from a humble beginnings, struggles in the film industry, to a bankable director and then directing a Big Pan-India Star Prabhas.
This is the first time the director ever spoke about the Prabhas Maruthi film. We quizzed him about why the movie is being shot silently without an official announcement, how he managed to convince Prabhas, the genre of the film, Prabhas's look on the film, Thaman's music for the movie, etc. We also asked about if there will be a First Look poster and title announcement for Prabhas's Birthday coming on October 23rd.
"Fans are flooding me with all sorts of suggestions about the film. Prabhas is keen on delivering a big hit for them. I can only assure them that everything is going in the right direction," Maruthi assured.
We also questioned him about how much shooting has been completed and about the release plan of the film.
"Prabhas is a big star for not a simple reason. He is doing three different films (Salaar, Project K (Kalki 2898 AD) and #PrabhasMaruthi film) and continuously process them in his head. He is always eager to give his best for the fans. The movie is definitely is a mix of what fans expect from Prabhas garu and also, from me," Maruthi told.
