Biocon reported 30‰ year-on-year (YoY) drop in net profit to Rs 101 crore for the quarter ended June 2023. ;ast year, the company had reported net profit of Rs 144 crore during same quarter. The company said the drop in net profit is due to depreciation, amortisation and interest increase of Rs 353 cr. Siddharth Mittal, CEO & MD, Biocon shed light on companies performance in an interview with ET Now.
