Liebherr enjoy an excellent reputation for manufacturing high quality, durable and efficient commercial refrigeration. Their wine cabinets are no exception to this and they offer an array of models. It's not a simple case of putting a wine rack in a fridge. Liebherr design their cabinets with the sole purpose of storing your wine in perfect conditions.

In this video Stephen from Liebherr gives Tim a run through of the features and benefits of Liebherr's wine cabinet range.

Liebherr specialises in multi-temperature cabinets. A multi-temperature cabinets have individually controllable zones. Each zone is accurate to within 1°C and each zone will run between +5°C and +20°C.

The reason Liebherr calls them Wine Cabinets because they have heating and cooling as well as air filtration as well as dimmable LED lighting.

All the zones have a seal across them which meets the seal on the door. This is to ensure you have an independent environment in each section.

The shelves are untreated hardwood which helps to reduce vibration and they also use low vibration compressors.

The doors are made from a one-piece steel frame with double glazed UV protected glass. The unit is very heavy and robust which helps to keep vibrations to a minimum. For additional stability and to support the weight of the cabinet Liebherr have fitted a fifth foot.

Internally, the cabinets use charcoal air-filtration. Because wine breathes through the cork the replaceable charcoal filters keep the air clean in the cabinet.

Liebherr also have a 2 zone cabinet. Either a 2 zone with shelves or with drawers with each drawer holding 20 bottles.

A major benefit of having multi-zone separation is when a bottle has been opened, it can then be stored at the exact serving temperature that it has been opened and there is no risk of it dripping through the cabinet.

Liebherr also have single temperature cabinets that are ideal for the long term storage of wines at 12°C or as a serving temperature wine cabinet if you are storing one variety of wine.

These cabinets are powder coated which means they are very durable, very difficult to scratch. They don't use a plastic coated steel. They are powder coated in-house for quality and consistency. The emphasis is always on quality.
