I started wearing the Vibram FiveFingers in October 2010. Before that I sustained hip and knee injuries from running. It took me nearly 2 years to correct my running style. I can now land on my front foot at all time. FiveFingers force me to do so. I had to start very slowly. It was like learning how to run all over again. I am back to my pre FiveFingers speed now without the injuries. Motto of the story - if you want to run injury free, change your running style and don't land on your heels.
