A week-long trek in Austria's Stubai Alps, including the ascent of two trekking peaks -- the Wilder Freiger and the Wilder Pfaff. The trek begins at the Innsbrucker Hutte near Innsbruck, and follows the 'Rucksack' route for a few days, before leaving the Nuernburger Hutte to climb the two peaks, over a two-day excursion.
The Stubai Rucksack Route links 8 huts without crossing glaciers or difficult passes, whereas the challenging Stubai Glacier Tour involves much glacier work. Either route will easily fit into a 2-week holiday.
For full details of both the 'Rucksack' route and 'Glacier' route in the Stubai, with numerous peak-bagging variants see Cicerone guide 'Trekking in the Stubai Alps' by Allan Hartley.
