TRIVANDRUM - KASARAGOD VANDE BHARAT ON ITS TRIAL RUN SKIPPING TIRUVALLA RAILWAY STATION @ MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE SPEED

The second trial run of the Vande Bharat Express (Train 18) train began from Thiruvananthapuram at 5.20AM on Wednesday. The trial run extends from Trivandrum to Kasaragod. Maintaining consistency, the service reached the Kollam station in 50 minutes during the second trial as well.

The first trial run was up to Kannur and the ongoing trial is up to Kasaragod. It is learnt that the second trial run will give more clarity on average time required to cover the proposed route and the fares. Apart from railway officials, security officials have become part of the second trial run.
