UPDATE: The full release firmware version 1.3.4 is now live for the RØDECaster Duo and RØDECaster Pro II. Connect your console to the internet via Wi-Fi or ethernet, or to a computer running the latest version of RØDE Central to update your firmware.

In this video, Heen takes you through the latest beta firmware update for the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo, which unlocks a much-requested new feature – the ability to connect RØDE USB mic!

With this latest update, you can now connect a range of RØDE USB mics to your RØDECaster just like you would an XLR microphone, giving you an extra mic channel for recording those bigger podcasts. The update also includes a new trim control for adjusting volume of individual sound pads, a level control for the ‘Ducking’ mixer action, and some other minor system enhancements.
