Festival 2014
In spite of the particularly wretched weather, the 48th edition of the Festival offered some great musical moments. For his first appearance at Montreux, Stevie Wonder put on an historic concert. At the Stravinski, Robert Plant, Pharrell Williams, Massive Attack, Damon Albarn, OutKast and Buddy Guy confirmed the Festival's eclecticism and fantastic musical heritage. The Jazz Club hosted Booker T. Jones, Buika, Jack DeJohnette, as well as Benjamin Clementine and Ayo in its softly muted atmosphere, while the Lab vibrated to the sounds of London Grammar, Agnes Obel, Metronomy, Archive and Etienne Daho. From faithful artists like Van Morrison and Stephan Eicher to newcomers like Temples and Lykke Li, all the Festival guests did nothing if not captivate their respective audiences.
