PRAYER FOR PEACE AND HARMONY IN FAMILY

Eternal Father, I offer to you each and every family that is struggling with a major crisis among the family members due to a loss of peace and harmony. The lack of trust, the inability to understand each other, the differences of opinion, and the inflated egos that leads to bitter and painful arguments and fights, I surrender to you.

O God your word says in John 1:5 that the light will shine in the darkness, and the darkness shall not overcome it. In accordance to this truth, I ask you Father to deliver all families from the darkness of hatred, jealousy, anger, resentment, unfaithfulness, gossip, slander, gluttony, laziness, indiscipline, indecency, unbelief and disobedience.

Sovereign Lord, pour out your love, joy, peace, faith and hope into all families. Let the light of your Holy Spirit keep all the families united and enable them to live in peace and harmony. O God as your grace enabled the early church to be of one heart and mind, I ask and pray for all families to be given the same grace to live in peace and harmony.

O Righteous Father, your word in Psalm 133:1 reveals how you are delighted and pleased to see brothers, sisters and all family members living in unity. O God you have established families and blessed them with a home of their own so that they can dwell together in peace and harmony. By the merits of this divine plan and desire of yours, O God; I ask you to send out your Word and your Spirit to minister to all families. Let the power of your eternal Word and Spirit establish peace and harmony in all families.

Almighty God, who can stop your hand from working miracles in the lives of the people whom you love and care for in such a deep manner? Who can prevent your mercy and compassion from flowing into our lives? Who can oppress and destroy what you have destined to save, exalt and glorify?

O Lord, my God, the Author of families, I surrender the family of my brothers and sisters who are listening to me right now. All of their troubles and their needs I lift them up to you and I ask for your blessings to rest upon them and their families. Let all kinds of negativity and evil be removed from their families and relationships, and let there be a continuous experience of peace and harmony, I ask and recieve the fulfillment of this prayer, through Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, Amen.
