Education Minister Paul Givan, speaking as a DUP Lagan Valley MLA, opposes the continuation of the Windsor Framework's imposition on Northern Ireland.
The motion and vote were rigged by the EU however when Boris Johnson agreed that this motion would be the first occasion where any significant decision would be taken by the Northern Ireland Assembly on a majority basis and without the cross-community safeguard built in to the Belfast Agreement.
