Kenya’s first Member of Parliament with albinism is fighting for a law that will protect East Africans with albinism from ritual killers. People with albinism in East Africa – especially children in Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi are usually kidnapped and their body parts sold to witchdoctors to produce magical potions. Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura is proposing stiff penalties including life in prison for those found guilty. Sarah Kimani reports from Kenya.
