Here at Cambridge University’s Bio-Inspired Robotics Laboratory we’re excited to bring you behind the scenes of our cutting-edge research: from robots which use taste to improve their cooking skills, to those which help doctors to examine and diagnose patients from the other side of the world. Along the way we’ll consider some of the unique ways that robots will continue to improve our lives in the future, using examples of real-life research currently being carried out at the intersection of biology and robotics.
Robot Lab Live is a virtual robotics showcase - hosted by the UK-RAS Network - and featuring 16 of the UK’s top robotics research groups. Each team will show-off their cutting-edge robots and autonomous systems simultaneously to live audiences on YouTube. You can flick between different demos running during the two-hour livestream, ask questions and interact with the research teams in the chat.
