This is a BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION Tour of a Vintage Airstream Safari from 1956. We found it at an Airstream Rally in Vermont and the owner, Mark, graciously took us through his labour of love. We learn about his DIY chassis rebuild, window rebuild, aluminum shine, entire floor replacement, completely removing, repairing and refinishing of the original woodwork, along with putting in all new plumbing, wiring, adding all new tanks, pumps and batteries. Mark managed to keep the original stove, fridge, furnace and sinks in the kitchen and bathroom. He shares with us how he did it, what materials he used and what it made his trailer worth in the end. This is a true work of art to be appreciated and learned from.
