Twenty-five years ago today, released their career-changing single, Wonderw.  At the time, the band's founder Noel Gagher was enjoying a wild, rock star romance with Meg Mathews, and their sprawling Supernova Heights party pad was at the centre of some of the infamous Primrose Hill set's most debauched tales.  People were as obsessed with their riotous relationship as they were with the song, and when Noel claimed he'd written it on a rainy Tuesday night for his music PR girlfriend, fans had no reason to doubt him.  "It's about my girlfriend, Meg Mathews," he was quoted as telling NME in 1996.  "She had a company which folded and she was feeling a bit sorry for herself.
