میں ہوں شرمندہ اپنے کیے اعمال سے
مولا مجھے تو اپنی رحمت میں ڈھانپ لیں
اے میرے آقا اے میرے مولا تو ہی عطا تو جودوسخا
میرا رب مجھ سے پوچھےگا حیا تجھ کو نہیں آتی
گناہوں کا تو خوگر ہے تیری عادت نہیں جاتی
تو کیسے روزِ محشر اپنے رب کو میں مناٶں گا
میں خود کو خواہشاتِ نفس سے کیسے بچاٶں گا
مجھے مرنا بھی ہے اِک دن خدا کے پاس جانا ہے
ہمیشہ زندگی کو اِس جہاں میں کس نے پانا ہے
میرا جو بھی عمل ہے محتسب اُس کا میرا رب ہے
کہ جو کچھ بھی کیا میں نے خدا تو جانتا سب ہے
مجھے افسوس میں عامل نہیں ہوں آج قرآں پر
نہ سورہ الکھف ، یاسین پر نہ رب کے فرماں پر
میں کیوں سنتا نہیں کہ مجھ کو رب کے پاس جانا ہے
اجل نے ہر بشر پر ایک نا اِک دن آ ہی جانا ہے
خدایا تیرا بندہ آج توبہ کرنے آیا ہے
وہ رحمت،مغفرت سے آج جھولی بھرنے آیا ہے

English Lyrics:
I am ashamed of my deeds and actions
Oh my Lord, cover me in your mercy
Oh my Lord, Oh my Master, you are the bestower
My Lord may have asked me: don’t you feel ashamed?
You are accustomed to sins, neither you are getting over the habit of sins
So how can I please the Lord of the Day of Judgment?
How can I protect myself from selfish desires?
I have to die one day and have to go to my Lord to face him!
Who has ever found life in this world?
My lord is my ombudsman/evaluator for all the actions I do
Whatever I did in the past, he (my lord) is aware of everything
I am ashamed that I am not practicing the Qur'an today
Not on Surah Al-Kahf, neither on Yaseen, nor on the command of the Lord
Why don't I realize that I have to go to the Lord?
Every soul will taste death one day
Oh Allah, your slave has to come to repent today
He (your slave) has come today to fill the swing/ bag with mercy and forgiveness
