November is here once again, and Thanksgiving will be arriving soon. As part of a preparation for Thanksgiving, this gives us an excuse to make apple pie in a cast iron pan. Any excuse to make apple pie is a good one, since not only is it easy to make; it is, of course, one of the most wonderful things you can make in cast-iron. In addition to preparing the pie, we will be discussing the use of cast-iron for baking, because we will be doing a lot of that as the holidays approach.
