What’s happening in this Do The Right Thing movie clip?
The angry crowd becomes a riotous mob, rushes into the restaurant, and destroys everything within, while Smiley (Roger Guenveur Smith) sets the restaurant on fire. From there, the mob begins to head for the Korean market. Sonny (Steve Park), the owner, tries to fight them off with a broom, yelling that he is one of them: "I no white! I black! You, me, same! We same!" causing the mob to spare his store. Firefighters arrive and begin spraying Sal's building as the crowd is held back by riot police. The firefighters, after several warnings to the crowd, turn their hoses on the mob, further enraging them.

What’s the movie Do The Right Thing about?
In Brooklyn, at the intersection of two neighborhoods, it is literally the hottest day of the year. This summer heat will soon crystallize racial tensions between blacks and whites. Mookie (Spike Lee), a young African-American, works as a pizza delivery boy for Italian-Americans Sal (Danny Aiello of The Front) and Pino (John Turturro of Five Corners and The Big Lebowski). Throughout the day, as he delivers to the neighborhood, he finds himself at the center of the action, crossing paths with a cast of characters: a handicapped man selling photos of Martin Luther King; Radio Borjo (Bill Nunn), a thug walking around with his radio on his arm; the host of a local radio station; and an old alcoholic neighborhood leader whose only advice is "do the right thing. An argument between Sal and Radio Borjo soon turns into a riot...
