The death toll from a collision of two trains in southern Pakistan has risen to 63. Rescue teams have recovered more bodies from the mangled coaches. The train smashed into derailed carriages of another train, also injuring more than 100 people. Authorities said the investigation into the cause of the crash is getting underway. Initial reports showed the driver tried to apply emergency brakes, but the engine hit the derailed coaches. There were more than a thousand passengers on board the two trains. The accident has reignited debate about the state of Pakistan's public transport system.
