Condensate water is caused by compression and temperature in the system. You need to remove this water because it can be carried over into your airline and corrode your air receiver causing long term damage.
We recommend draining the tank every day. At a maximum once a week.
To do this, first check the pressure gauge to make sure there is some pressure in the tank to blow the condensate water out.
Turn the compressor off, then open the drain tap enough for the condensate water to blow out and when it has blow clear or tank is empty, close the tap.
