Sometimes the Question & Answer portion of our Garden Classes while off topic is very interesting. During a recent class, someone asked why his Crape Myrtle wasn't blooming yet. This prompted a terrific response from Ken Lain answering not on the original question but pointing out when certain plants came into bloom in our mountain environment and how to ensure the plants flourished when it was their time.
