Buyer's remorse isn't a great feeling. That's why the iPhone 12 Pro is back to see if it stood the test of time!

The iPhone 12 Pro has the second spot in Apple's 12 series hierarchy. Up the line from the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini, and in the shadow of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It has a smaller screen than the 12 Pro Max, making it more pocketable. Except for a little less zoom (5x vs 4x), the iPhone 12 Pro has the same cameras as the Max, along with all the same internals. The slightly smaller price tag also makes it a very compelling value.

John purchased the iPhone 12 Pro right at launch back in October 2020. He wanted the 5G and the Magsafe, but most importantly it was the camera that drew him in. The smaller size and price, compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, made it hard to resist for an upgrade.

His iPhone 12 Pro is a little more worn now. It’s picked up a few battle scars and software updates. He’s also gotten quite a bit more familiar with it, the camera, and now that 5G is rolling out, he's had more time to consider that as well. We thought it would be a great idea to have a long-term review, highlighting the things he loved, what stood the test of time, and maybe some quirks and issues he may have experienced. But most importantly, we wanted to find out if the iPhone 12 Pro remains his pick after all this time.
