This video practically demonstrates how to get data periodically in Google Sheets using Google Apps Script and Trigger. When we use any formula or user define apps script function in Google Sheets, it executes that formula and provides result at that moment. It is possible to execute formula repeatedly with 1 minute resolution timer. However, any function called from Google Sheets cannot update cell other than in which it is written. This video resolves this problem and shows how we can write data continuously on next available free cells. It creates a apps script function and invokes it every minute using trigger feature of Google Apps Script. This solution can be used to solve many real world problems
