Check out my DIY Simucube Active Pedal prototype in action! I built this pedal using a load cell, NEMA 23 Integrated Easy Servo Motor, and Arduino Uno, for a fraction of the cost of the official Simucube pedals. While there are still some issues to address, such as shaky ADS1256 readings and a lack of computing power on the Arduino, I'm really pleased with how it's coming along. The pedal arm, connectors, and housing were all 3D printed using CAD models from Fusion 360. This project has been a great learning experience for me, and I hope it inspires others to take on their own DIY projects. Let me know what you think in the comments!
