In this video, I have tried to gather all the information about spices and grocery items you get in local market which is called mercado in spanish.
It took me 5 years to explore these products , hahhah...
But if you are new to Mexico then this video is just for you.
We do have one Indian grocery store in Mexico City, where we get everything but if you are looking for local options then here you go. Watch this video.

Mostaza Negro - Mustard seeds
Cilantro molido - Corriander powder
Chile rojo en polvo - red chilli powder
Anis / semillas de hinojo - fennel seeds
Hoja de laurel - bay leaf
Chile de arbol - red chillies
Clavos de olor - cloves
Anis estrella - star anise
piloncillo - jaggery
Canela - cinnamon
Tamarindo - tamrind
Curcuma - turmeric
piloncillo granulado - jaggery powder
