Welcome to Season Two, video 18 of Semiosis 101.
In this video we look at semiotics from either end of our collective human history, from the 21st century back to our icy Stone Age past.
The main focus is the final book review of two books: FireSigns by Steven Skaggs and The First Signs by Genevieve von Petzinger.
Which means that we discover the roots of the human ability to encode shapes, marks and imagery with meaning. This we will see stretches back to the dawn of humanity, and was not recently “invented”.
