Police say at least five people are dead and 40 still missing after a train carrying crude oil exploded in a small town in Canada.
The driverless train derailed and blew up early on Saturday in Lac-Megantic in Quebec province, destroying dozens of buildings in the town centre.
Police spokesman Michel Brunet told reporters: "Two more people have been recovered, two more bodies, which brings the total to five ... there are about 40 people, more or less, who are considered to be missing...There could be more, there could be less." Report by Jeremy Barnes.
