A new study from Massachusetts General Hospital suggests that children can carry higher levels of the coronavirus than adults who have been hospitalized with COVID-19, even if they are symptom-free. The findings add another layer to the continued debate about when and how to send children back to school this fall. To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by the study’s senior author, Dr. Alessio Fasano, who is also director of MGH’s Mucosal Immunology and Biology Research Center.
