Controlled pressure at the opener terminals is peripheral stream control --- (stream profile control at the point where it enters the furrow). It’s a fluid link --- from the pump and control module all the way to the furrow!

This means blockages are less likely, and the flow can be started and stopped much more quickly --- (near zero to minimum lag time)!
