Moushumi Chatterjee recently narrated an incident from the sets of her film 'Manzil', co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. The veteran actress, who recently appeared on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' revealed that during the shoot of the song 'Rimjhim Gire Saawan', which got shot amid heavy Mumbai rains, Big B could not stop laughing at her. While stating that shooting in the rain was not easy especially in the absence of waterproof makeup, the actress said, 'We faced the real rains in Mumbai. It was Basu Chatterjee’s film, and I remember it even today, waterproof liners were not there back then. So, after a shot, I saw everyone laughing, including the hero, as my liner had smudged in the rain and had mixed with the blush of my cheeks.' She added that post-shoot, upon reaching home, she found that all the green colour of the saree was imprinted on her body after getting drenched in the rain for a long time. The actress also recounted how to grab the camera's attention, she moved away from Senior Bachchan in the song so that the lens could follow her and not him. Notably, none of the Bollywood rain songs stir up more nostalgia than RD Burman's 'Rimjhim Gire Saawan' which captured the essence of rainy Mumbai as its backdrop.
