All the way back in zenless zone zero 1.0 I made a video discussing phaethons true goals. I had suspected that they were involved with the helios institute and had access to a researcher there. This is why they had Eous, the HDD system and why they were able to use it. At the time I thought the theory was kinda bad so I didnt post it. After zenless 1.2 however i feel I shouldve posted it sooner. Phaethons true goals seems to have been hinted at far earlier but better late than never. So in this video ill share the old video I made and include some additional info from 1.2

Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Zenless Zone Zero lore.
