Did a quick speedtest between the iPad 3 (which was downgraded from iOS 9) on iOS 8.4.1 and the iPad 4 running iOS 10.3.3 (running the latest supported firmware) using stock apps. The iPad 3 did pretty well in some parts but the iPad 4 is definitely the winner even with newer firmware.

I will be downgrading the iPad 4 at some point to 8.4.1 and I will do this speedtest again with them both on the same firmware. I wonder how well the iPad 3 will do...
