A simple explanation of an electrical or electronics load.
Anything that is connected in an electrical or electronic circuit that uses electrical power is an electrical load. The purpose of all electrical circuits is to operate something, that something is called a load. All loads convert electrical energy into another form of energy.
Simple examples are lights, TV, motors, etc. Light converts electrical energy to visible light and motors convert electrical energy to mechanical energy.
