Mizoram's Chief Minister, Zoramthanga voting attempt was foiled due to a malfunctioning Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) at19-Aizawl Venglai-I YMA Hall polling station on November 7. Expressing his disappointment, Zoramthanga stated, "The machine failed to function despite my waiting. Consequently, I decided to visit my constituency and cast my vote after having my morning meal." Over 8.57 lakh voters will decide the electoral fate of 174 candidates in the state.
