If you are a strata manager or part of an Owners Corporation with a residential building that has serious defects – you might be able to get them fixed for free. You would need to register interest for Project Intervene by 30 June 2023. The program helps developers or builders to fix serious common property defects. An agreement is prepared between the developer and then provides experts, such as supervisors to ensure the work is done properly and to current standards. The remediation work and associated costs are then covered by the developer, not the Owners Corporation.
