Since the John Deere 855 is up and running I can finally share with you my new "used" snowblower that I picked up at an auction a couple weeks ago. Even though it's summer, I will need this time to get this snowblower sorted out, so I can use it all winter long to remove some serious snow & hard-packed snow drifts.
In this video, I focus on the disassembly process and share with you all the parts that I removed from the John Deere 47" hydro cut snowblower. There is a little bit of wear on all the parts and there are some parts that need some real attention...so I'll do my best to repair everything for the upcoming assembly video.
Technically speaking the John Deere 655 & 755 were equipped with the 47" hydro cut and the 855 & 955 were able to handle the 59" hydro cut, but I couldn't find one of those. This one was an amazing deal, so I had to get it. The mounting hardware is all the same, just that the snowblower is not as wide! I bet this will work just as good once it's repaired!
