Lakshman Saha's Zamindar Bari is a historical zamindar house located in Danga area of Palash upazila in Narsingdi district of Bangladesh . Which is well known to the locals as Ukil Bari .
Zamindar Lakshan Saha is the original founder of this zamindar dynasty. However, it is not known exactly when this zamindar dynasty and zamindar house was established. The descendants of these zamindars were small zamindars belonging to other zamindars. But they never had to pay rent to the zamindars they belonged to or to the British government. Because this zamindari area was the only area in the Indian subcontinent as waqf. Lakshman Saha had three sons. The youngest son moved to India during the Partition. Shortly before Bangladesh became independent from Pakistan, the eldest son also moved to India. His middle son stayed in Bangladesh. He had one son. Whose name was Buddhist Narayan Saha. This Buddhist Narayan Sahai later sold the house to Ahmed Ali Ukil. So Mr. Ahmed Ali is a lawyer by profession and now many people know this house as Ukil Bari.
