Let's drive to the newly opened elevated expressway which is NLEX SLEX Connector. We start the video from NLEX Smart Connect Interchange until we reach Espana Blvd in the City of Manila

The elevated expressway just opened last March 27, 2023, from C3 to Espana only, making it the alternate route of Skyway Stage 3.

The 8-kilometer (5.0 mi)[17] elevated expressway is divided into two sections: Section 1, spanning 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from Caloocan to España, and Section 2, spanning 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) from España to Santa Mesa. Once completed, it will have four entry and exit points: Caloocan Interchange, C-3 Road in Caloocan, España in Sampaloc, Manila, and Magsaysay Boulevard near Santa Mesa, Manila.

Construction on the NLEX Connector began on February 28, 2019.[18] DMCI undertook the civil works for Section 1,[16] while China Road and Bridge Corporation handled the construction of Section 2.[19] To make way for the planned section which would traverse below LRT Line 2, the Magsaysay Flyover along Magsaysay Boulevard is currently undergoing decommissioning.

On March 27, 2023, the expressway was inaugurated by President Bongbong Marcos.[21] Section 1 of the expressway then opened two days later.[22] Meanwhile, Section 2, which is 42% complete as of March 2023, is planned to be finished in June 2023
