크리스티 경매 나온 블루 다이아몬드 낙찰가 650억원 예상
And finally to Switzerland where auction house Christie's Geneva is set to take bids on what it describes as the “largest internally flawless fancy vivid blue diamond to appear at auction.”
Known as the "Bleu Royal", a Christie's representative said the gemstone could sell for up to 50 million dollars.
The 17.6-carat Bleu Royal is pre-set in a ring and will go under the hammer alongside other rare jewels on November 7th, with interest said to be high following a world tour of the diamond.
In 2016 Christie's sold the "Oppenheimer Blue", a 14.6-carat blue diamond for more than 57 million dollars, and officials remain hopeful that the Bleu Royal can surpass that amount.
