Australia has the largest and heaviest road-legal vehicles in the world: road trains. Road trains are a cost-effective way to transport goods across the vast, remote regions of the Land Down Under. They can carry up to three trailers, and in some cases, four or more.
You won't see these behemoths anywhere near Australia's populous areas, but in the bush and Outback, they are more common than kangaroos. In fact, passing these mega trucks on the narrow, two-way highways can be dangerous, especially if another one is approaching from the opposite direction!
