The venerable Charleston Municipal Golf Course was in need of an upgrade, but it got much more than that. Last year, with funding from the city and the local Friends of Muni, architect Troy Miller gave the South Carolina course a complete overhaul. His work was inspired by a Golden Age designer who left an indelible mark on the Charleston golf scene: Seth Raynor.
