Olympic Torch Relay (Day 123) - Sochi
The Sochi 2014 Olympic Torch Relay has completed its record journey through the world's largest country. The Flame of the Winter Games, which visited the top of Elbrus and the bottom of Lake Baikal, the realms of the permafrost in Yakutia and the slopes of an active volcano in Kamchatka, lit the streets of Sochi a final time before heading to the Fisht stadium, where the main Cauldron will be lit.
The Sochi 2014 Olympic Torch Relay is going to be the longest in the entire history of the Olympic Winter Games. During the Olympic Torch Relay, 14,000 torchbearers will carry the Sochi 2014 Olympic torch through 2,900 settlements of 83 regions of the country. The Relay will end with the Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony in Sochi on February 7, 2014.
